Hey all creative people out there!
I just added the new feature: “download as .zip”, which is a link you can see below the list of codes. This link will provide you the whole package as a .zip file (including the data files, images, etc.. the original zip file as it was uploaded). So that you will be able to download a sketch you liked, and start working on it on your own computer right away (without copy pasting all the code).
Currently, it is only available for the sketches uploaded by November 19th, 2008. I am still checking if it works fine, so it is in ‘beta’. But give it a try, and let me know if you face any issues!
here is an example sketch for you to download:

I hope it will be a helpful tool for most of you!
Are these download available under any open source license?
Nice feature
Yes indeed! Anything uploaded to OpenProcessing is licensed under Creative Commons. Please see the footer info on OpenProcessing pages for more info.
Hi Sinan, I don’t find out how to send you a message exept this way. So it’s not exactly about “Download Sketches as .zip” but well!
Just to say thank you for this share gallery. I hope you won’t let it down. If you need a graphic artist, I’m your man (even for boring work or anything of my proficiency).
Hey, I’ve fortuitously noticed that colored words in the source code are in fact links to their own reference at processing.org. This is so great! So pitty it’s not explained (but maybe it’s obvious for anybody exept me).
Ok, about the “Download Sketches as .zip”, I’ve tried it and it works well. Even if we get the applet folder, it’s quite easy to recreat the working folder needed by processing.
Hi Sinan, managed to produce my Zoog today which is one of the exercises from the book Learning Processing by Danial Shiffman. Saw your feature ‘Download Sketches as Zip’ worked fine on my set up… Mac G4 running OS10 10.5.4. Thanks.
Great feature, thanks!
I love the new look, Sinan. Congrats.
Thanks a lot! I am very excited! I will list all the updates in a new post, but recently this is the short announcement: http://www.openprocessing.org/blog/?p=22
It’s pretty neat. Well done! I will be putting this feature to use today.
I do not see the “download as .zip” button, and I really need to use it. I would like to download this sketch
http://www.openprocessing.org/visuals/?visualID=4207
I would really appreciate it if someone would tell me where it is.
Hi, there was a problem with old sketch downloads, but it is fixed now. You can retry downloading. Sorry for the delay on this.
